Matt’s songwriting career intensified in 2013. What follows is a quick summary of some of the new works added to his catalogue:
Matt co-wrote two songs with Lady Rizo and Yair Evnine for Lady Rizo’s recently released album Violet including the first single Ink Dip, as well as the song Dominika.
He collaborated on songs with Bridget Everett for the recently released Everett album Pound It!. Matt has writing credit on six tracks including: What I Gotta Do, F**k S**t Up, Coming for You, Living the Dream, Endless Road, and Just the Tip.
He also collaborated on songs for Bridget Everett’s brand new cabaret show Rock Bottom which premiered at Joe’s Pub on October 30th. Matt co-wrote the song Eat It with Ad-Rock and Bridget Everett, and collaborated with Everett on two other songs for the show – Flying Too Close to the Sun, and Why Don’t You Kiss Me.
Matt co-wrote a song with Ad-Rock for an upcoming short film called The RICO ACT.
Matt worked with Spencer Day on two new songs to be recorded for Spencer’s next album. Training Wheel and Riding On a Broken Dream.
AND OF COURSE Matt’s album Songs For the Anonymous was released in February and contains 12 original compositions.
Not to mention Matt has recently penned a dozen new songs to be recorded this year.
