I had a fantastic time playing 4 shows in 3 cities in 6 days on a whirlwhind UK tour with downtown cabaret star Justin Vivian Bond.  Our band was rounded out by NathAnn Carrera on guitar and Claudia Chopek on violin, and I got to play wonderful pianos at every stop.  Particularly the Southbank Centre show in London in Queen Elizabeth Hall was a gorgeous setting, and a 9-foot Steinway didn’t disappoint.

Mx. Bond was in top form regaling the audience with story after story and bringing laughter as well as intense artistry and artistically urgent vocals. Stops at Queer Contact in Manchester, and Pink Fringe in Brighton did not disappoint either. Barry Priest is doing magical work up north, and our Brighton hosts were about as fun as it gets. I’m thrilled to have been a part of this magical tour!
